Payment Options

Orders are processed online or via telephone through a secure payment gateway using your Credit Card, American Express or Debit Card, or through your PayPal account, through a secure payment gateway provided by Sagepay.

We accept the following Debit & Credit Cards through our website:

Funds are debited from your account at the time the order is placed and payment must be received in full to allow goods to be delivered.

PayPal

We accept PayPal payments through our website. Please continue through checkout as normal and select the payment option "PayPal" when you reach the relevant section. You will then be taken through to PayPal to pay for your order, and once complete, be re-directed back to our website to inform you of your order reference number.

Our online checkout facilities are very easy to use and you can rest assured both Sagepay and PayPal offer you the highest level of security. Furthermore, none of your financial information is stored on our servers.

Telephone Orders

If you feel more comfortable speaking to one of our advisers, please contact us on (0191) 654 2030 between the hours of 9am – 5pm (Monday to Friday) and we can either talk you through how to use the online service, and/or assist and advise of our payment methods available.

Cheque

You can pay for your purchase by cheque if you prefer. Simply progress through the checkout as normal and select "Cash/Cheque" as the payment option". You would then be required to post your payment to the address below making sure the name is made out to “Efurn Limited”, along with your order reference number, full name, and postcode, and we will process your order as soon as your payment has cleared. This normally takes 3-5 working days from when the cheque is banked.
 
Payment Queries: Frequently Asked Questions

Q: How do I know if my payment has gone through?
A: When you pay for your order you will be sent to either a successful payment page or a failed payment page on our website. You may also receive a confirmation email from the SAGE PAY system which confirms the status of your transaction.

If you are in doubt about the status of your order, please contact us on support@childrensbedshop.co.uk with all the relevant details (Name, Postcode, Order Number (if available) and your specific enquiry) or via telephone, and we will be able to advise you of your order status as soon as possible.

Q: I received an error code, what do I do?
A: If you receive an error code during the transaction process, please email this code to support@childrensbedshop.co.uk and we will advise you on how to proceed with your order.

Q: Will I be charged a transaction fee for paying with a Credit Card?
A: We will not charge you a transaction fee for making a purchase with a Credit Card.

Q: When is payment taken?
A: As soon as you complete the checkout process and go through the payment gateway to fill out your details, we will immediately debit the payment. We are unable to accept deposits for an order.

Q: Will I receive a receipt confirming my order?
A: Yes, when you have completed the checkout process, we will automatically email the details of your order, including your order reference number. Should you not receive this within 30 minutes of placing your order, please check your Spam folder as your service provider may place our emails within this section.

Q: How do I know my details are secure?
A: Sagepay is audited by an independent auditor on a regular basis to ensure that they comply with the latest security standards set out by Visa and MasterCard. If you have processed your order online using the Sagepay payment pages, please locate and click on the padlock image which can be found on our payment pages to confirm that your details are collected in a secure environment.

The padlock is located in a different area of the payment page screen depending on the internet browser you are using – it can normally be found in the bottom right hand corner of the screen, at the top of the screen next to (or inside) the address bar or at the very top right hand corner of the screen. This padlock shows that your details are collected using 128 bit SSL encrypted technology.

Once you have entered your card details, Sagepay will securely send these details to your bank to be authorised. This is a completely secure process and we ensure that your details cannot be accessed by a third party. Childrens Bed Shop NEVER stores any credit or debit card details on its servers for extra consumer protection.
